ABOUT
Merryday Studio offer British made 3D greeting cards and silk scarves.
CREATIVE AND ORIGINAL - Colour, pattern and form!
Whether it be a scarf or card, we create gifts that stands out from the crowd and shout with joy.
Traditional drawing and paper manipulation techniques are used to design colourful, quirky and always original items. Every creation is exclusive to Merryday Studio.
Inspiration comes from British wildlife and nature. The relationship between colour, pattern and form is fundamental to each design.
LOCAL AND ETHICAL
Every item is produced in small batches and made locally in the UK. The small batches ensure beautifuly crafted items and minimul wast.
THE FOUNDER
Faye Stevens is the Yorkshire based artist behind Merryday Studio. She gained a university degree in Applied Arts and then studied pattern cutting and dressmaking, these skills can be seen in her work.
Faye has been a freelance illustrator and designer for over 15 years, creating innovative pop-up greeting cards, textile designs, beer art and even a children's picture book!
She has won several awards for her uneque 3D cards.

ENVIROMENTAL CARE
Here are a few things we do at Merryday Studio to look after the environment and the people living on it:
Responsibly sourced
All of our paper is FSC or FSCF certified to ensure that it comes from sustainable sources. Short run digital printing methods are used for our textiles; one of the most environmentally friendly print methods with almost zero waste created.
Biodegradable
Cards - we use biodegradable cello bags, uncoated card (with no plastic coating) and recycled paper envelopes (so that we do not add to plastic waste).
Scarves - we only use fabrics which are made from natural materials so that everything is biodegradable.
Air miles and ethical working
We use local companies to produce our products. This supports the local economy, reduces travel miles and ensures a reliable standard of working conditions.
We are a very small company who believe in creativity, originality and ethical practice. We only produce small quantities of each design so you can rest assured that your purchase is unique and has been made with care.
